An exciting announcement: The Global Bohemian & Space Rituals

 

We’ve got exciting news this month – we’re officially stocking in the heart of Stirchley, Birmingham within Space Rituals. Some collaborations happen for reach, and some happen for a reason – and this collaboration is the latter.

When we choose to collaborate with a business it needs to be based on shared values, intention, ethical practices and aligned brands. The Global Bohemian will be exclusively stocked within the newly created Space Rituals shop, nestled beside the healing rooms of Space Therapies in Stirchley, Birmingham.

It feels less like entering a retail space and more like stepping into a botanical, earth-led, and softly grounding environment – which is just the sort of space we want our brand to exist in.

A space for intentional living

Space Rituals was born from the idea of purposeful procurement — choosing objects not for trend or consumption, but for meaning, ritual, and alignment. Each piece within the space is selected for the story it carries and the feeling it evokes: calm, focus, comfort, or quiet joy.

The concept sits naturally alongside the therapeutic work happening next door at Space Therapies — creating a continuum between healing practice and the objects that support daily ritual at home.

This philosophy mirrors our own. Because clothing, too, can be ritual.

Why The Global Bohemian belongs here

Our brand was founded on the belief that clothing choices should support the planet and the people in it, crafted by hand, ethically paid for and with respect for history behind them. Our pieces are created from reclaimed cotton and silk sarees, all hand-stitched by female artisans in West Bengal and embroidered with traditional motifs.

Some silks are further transformed through tie-dye, allowing new colours to emerge and further up-cycling and keeping fabric out of landfill.  Every piece is one-of-a-kind, shaped by the fabric available at the moment of creation.

Our clothing sits perfectly In Space Rituals which is stocked with slow living products for your own self-care and our clothing is the perfect partner to these products – it’s a space where you can truly cleanse the mind, body and soul.

A natural home for conscious craft

This collaboration feels less like placement and more like belonging.

Space Rituals opens Monday 16th March next door to Space Therapies, Stirchley, Birmingham — a new destination for intentional living and soulful adornment. We’re excited to be a new addition to an already thriving independent high street and local community.
