People, Planet and Place

First and foremost our ethos is to support the planet and the people in it.

Responsible Partnerships

Our brand works with a solo partnership in Pushkar, India to bring all our own designs to life. This partnership is built on a mutual understanding and shared growth vision. We've been working with this family owned small business since summer 2025 and we operate with open transparency, fair pay and creativity across all our new designs.

People

People

People means both the artisans we partner with overseas and the customers we serve at home. We pay fairly and on time, communicate openly and professionally, and value honest, long-term relationships. We listen closely to customer feedback and aim to respond to every enquiry — because your voice matters.

Planet

Planet

Planet guides how we source, make and package every piece. We use reclaimed kantha blankets stitched by rural artisans and work with suppliers who follow ethical processes. Our packaging is fully recyclable, locally sourced to reduce travel, and finished with cotton and card tags — never plastic.

Place

Place

Place reflects how we support the communities around us. We pay fair prices to artisans for their skills and craftsmanship, never negotiating below their worth. Closer to home, we collaborate with and champion local independent businesses — using our platform to raise awareness and support small-business growth.

The Magic of Kantha

Our kantha blankets are stitched by a team of rural female artisans in West Bengal. They stitch from a community home in their village with each blanket being created with the iconic running stitch. They are then paid for fairly before being shipped to our designer. We select each blanket for our designs (it's not a random selection) to make sure we give a good mix of colours and patterns across the new drops. Each drop we try and select some brighter colours and darker tones to suit the style. Sometimes you'll find the odd patch where the women have saved a blanket from being thrown out. These details add soul and been lovingly restored so they can be worn again.

Soulful Saree Silks

Our saree designs are made from a mix of recycled silks and crepe, silk blend fabrics. The crepe silks feature delicate embroidery with gold and silver threads as well as being adorned with motifs and patterns - giving them a luxurious and glamorous edge.

All of our saree silks are reclaimed or recycled and we also further up-cycle them by tie dying with a mix of thread and bamboo to give them a signature pattern. Each drop we select from available saree fabric (sourced from across India) and choose the best patterns to keep for the plain range and then the ones we want to tie dye. All of our saree's would have otherwise gone to landfill so by choosing to work this way we relove and rework something preloved into a new and unique piece of clothing.
