Simple in shape but rich in character, it's designed to slip effortlessly into your wardrobe and become part of your everyday story.
What inspired this piece
We wanted to create a piece that would mix and match with our own designs as well as integrate into your wardrobe with ease. That’s why this was the first design we also created in plain cotton. Designed to be simple, yet classic in shape and easy to match with jeans and skirts – mood dependent.
Why you’ll reach for it
The Saras Cami has adjustable straps making it easy to fit, lightweight fabric for warm summer days and easy to pop underneath a cardi when the cooler months come in; meaning it can still be used all year round.
Its one of those pieces that you can style with versatility and its also easy to take on weekends away and holidays – she takes up very little room!
The Feel & Fit: how it moves
We intentionally kept the shape simple. Adjustable straps allow you to find your perfect fit, while the relaxed silhouette gently skims the body without feeling restrictive. It's feminine without being fussy and versatile enough to wear through every season.
Layer it beneath one of our Kantha jackets. Pair it with wide-leg cropped Palazzos or style it with our silk Revival Wrap skirt. Or simply wear it with your favourite jeans and let the fabric do all the talking.
Because sometimes the simplest pieces become the hardest working ones.
Made With purpose
When we create a design we choose each individual saree to upcycle. When we created the Saras Cami we also cut the Leela top from the same saree so as to use all the fabric, we don’t like waste!
So you’ll find matching designs across some of our new summer collections. We’ve also upcycled them further by adding our signature tie dye to selections of them to give them a little edgier look.
